30 years of understanding
what it actually takes
Psychotherapist first. Coach second. Human always.
Before I became a coach, I spent decades as a licensed psychotherapist. I've sat with people at the most difficult moments of their lives — and at the quietest ones, when the busyness settles and something important rises to the surface.
When I was diagnosed with cancer, everything I thought I knew about living a full life got tested. That experience didn't break me. It clarified me. It showed me, in a way that decades of practice hadn't quite managed, what it actually means to reconnect with yourself after spending years performing a version of yourself for other people.
That experience is now at the centre of my work. I don't coach from theory alone. I coach from a life that has been genuinely examined — including the parts that were hard to look at.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, am a licensed psychotherapist, and hold Intelligent Leadership certification. I've worked with individuals, teams, and organisations across three decades.
But honestly? What matters most is whether you feel understood when we talk. I invite you to find out.
What makes this different
Clinical depth
Three decades as a licensed psychotherapist means I hear what you're not saying. Coaching built on clinical training is different from coaching built on a weekend course.
Radical honesty
I won't tell you what you want to hear. I'll tell you what I actually observe — which is, in the end, a far greater act of respect. This is not comfortable work, but it is real work.
No presets
You are not a programme. What we do together is shaped entirely by where you are and what you need. There is no curriculum you move through. There is a conversation that deepens.
